“ZUMBATHON PRO CRIM”
In order to raise funds for the Municipal Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center (CRIM), the City of Isla Mujeres, headed by the municipal president, Juan Carrillo Soberanis, and the Municipal System for the Integral Development of the Family (DIF), chaired by Mrs. Paola Orrico de Carrillo, carried out the "Zumbathon Pro CRIM".
The CRIM coordinator, Xhanat Tzé González Mora, said she was excited to see dozens of island families who joined in this cause, which will help the institution to continue providing quality services for all the inhabitants of the island.
She said, "Via this action involving instructors from the municipalities of Tulum, Solidaridad, Benito Juárez and of course Isla Mujeres, we will be able to continue with the great work that the center does.  We are very happy for the response of the citizenry since this is for their benefit."
She saidthat thanks to the work and the efforts of the municipal president, Juan Carrillo Soberanis, and his wife, Mrs. Paola Orrico de Carrillo, CRIM serves more than 250 patients, of whom 150 attend approximately twice a week to receive different types of therapy.
