He has a degree in Ecology from the Instituto Tecnológico de Chetumal; and professional experience in the following areas: Management and administration of water resources, wastewater treatment systems, and cleaning bodies of water, as well as educational activities at the Universidad del Caribe and Colegio de Bachilleres.

Reconocen al personal de la Armada de México0 21 de noviembre de 2014A promotion ceremony was conducted for naval personnel.
Commitment, dedication, loyalty and perseverance for the fulfillment of the mission are the values that the Secretary of the Navy of Mexico recognized in their personnel. Therefore, as part of the CIV (104th) Commemoration of the Anniversary of the Beginning of the Mexican Revolution, a Promotion Ceremony of Naval Personnel was held on the premises of the Fifth Naval Region. This was done in accordance with Article 89, Section IV of the Political Constitution of the United States of Mexico and in accordance with Articles 2 and 3 of Promotion Law of the Navy of Mexico.The 44 members of the Navy who were promoted one grade included: capitanes de Corbeta, tenientes de Navío, tenientes de Fragata, tenientes de Corbeta, primeros Maestres, segundos Maestres, terceros Maestres y cabos, adscritos al Cuartel General de la Quinta Región Naval, así como de unidades y establecimientos subordinados.The article other includes information about the ranks, the laws and the authority to promote officers.The ceremony was attended by civil and naval authorities and relatives of the staff who were being promoted. The Naval base commander Juan Ramón Alcalá Pignol attended and awards were given to personnel who had completed 35, 30, 25, 20, 15 and 10 years of active duty. Awards for perseverance were given to those of the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth class.La Secretaría de Marina-Armada de México congratulated those who were promoted & joined in the joy of the families and friends of the naval staff who reached another milestone in their careers as a result of their efforts, merits, and professionalism in performance of their duties.

0 21 de noviembre de 2014Individual entrepreneurs from Isla Mujeres whose businesses are dedicated to underwater activities organized and participated in the DEMA (Diving Equipment and Marketing Association) show in Las Vegas. The Oficina de Visitantes y Convenciones de Cancún (OVC) Convention and Visitors Bureau of Cancun (who are responsible for promoting Isla Mujeres) did not attend.This year the annual event is taking place Nov. 19-22, and the entrepreneurs are working at the event from 10am to 6pm. They are talking with travel agents & others, offering services and products, and promoting various activities including swimming with the whale sharks and sport fishing.Kin Lima Fernández, of “Ken M Internacional” (sic) said that attendance at this event resulted in every success, because each year it is better organized and there is greater interest in underwater activities. He said there are more countries participating this year. The participants from Isla Mujeres brought videos and brochures, which has attracted a great deal of attention, he said.

The municipal Director of Education reported that classes were back to normal by noon on Thursday, after the cancellation of the parade on the island commemorating the 104th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution. The call for the school sector to mobilize in support of the cause of Ayotzinapa, that was supported in several cities, was not answered here.
Some taxi drivers said their clients commented that the cancellation was irrational on the island when many parents had spent money for the event. Parents who complained said Isla Mujeres represents no risk, except maybe for a few insults toward the Mayor because construction is being done at the wrong time of the year on Rueda Medina.
One mother complained that they had spent over 800 pesos for expenditures for their three children who were marching with their school to buy clothes and shoes, when they have no money and survive on low wages, and do not understand why these last minute decisions are made, when they should notify us days in advance to avoid the expenses. On the eve of Revolutionary Day, the traditional parade was held on the mainland with over 700 students, while on the island the "order came" for cancellation, but the classes were not cancelled.

campaigns. At the last big IA campaign 220 animals were spayed/neutered.

Activities for Municipal Month of Ecology:
On Nov. 5, the Animal Welfare Act will be signed by the State Ministry of the Environment.
Nov. 8 is the Day of Municipal Urbanismo with compulsory cleaning of vacant lots, and the start of collecting of batteries.
Nov. 15 is World Recycling Day, when there will be a training workshop about recycling and reusing.
Nov. 20th is Municipal Clean Air Day, when an ongoing campaign will begin for the certification of smoke-free spaces.
Nov. 25 is Municipal Day of No Use of Pesticides when an interesting conference will be held on the management of solid residues concerning vegetable oils: "What to do with them"
Nov. 27 is Municipal Species Conservation Day when there will be an opening of the drinking fountains and inauguration of the space for the conservation of the Striped Iguana (Iguana Rayada). Also there will be a brigade to rescue and assist the Blue Crabs during their period of reproduction. (They move between the mangroves and the sea to spawn during the full moons in the fall, which often includes crossing a road).
On Nov. 30th, Sunday, there will be a drawing contest, and a presentation of the cookbook "Lion Fish".
